About Us

A New Testament Church

We are not just another denomination and neither are we interdenominational. It is our desire to be nondenominational, wearing no other name but Christ’s Known simply as Christians, members of the body of Christ (Isaiah 62:2; Acts 11:26; Ephesians 1:22,23). Collectively, we call ourselves the Church of Christ, the Lord’s Church or some other scriptural designation (Ephesians 5:23; Romans 16:16).

We have no human head. There is no man or group of men who legislate for the Church. We answer to no one but Christ. Christ is the head of the Church (Colossians 1:18). There is no inter-congregational organization, but rather, independent congregations in various locations with Christ as a Lord and Master. Each congregation is subject to scriptural elders also known in the scriptures as bishops, overseers or pastors. These men are appointed only when they meet certain qualifications listed by Paul in I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Serving under these elders or bishops are deacons, evangelists and members (saints), (Philippians 1:1).

This church is a New Testament church dedicated to restoring New Testament principles of worship and organization according to New Testament teaching. We are not a denominational church organized and operated by man-made doctrines.

Are you tired of worshiping God under a basketball hoop or some other kind of social setting? We offer worship to God in a quiet and respectful manner and not in a social environment of entertainment. We worship God in reverence and not to the entertainment of men.

“Ps 89:7 God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.” (K.J.V.)

“Heb 12:28* Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
